Join our team! The FAU Chair of Economics & Social Policy has an open position for a Research Assistant (Doctoral Candidate / PhD Student) starting in September/October 2023.
The scope of duties includes versatile tasks in research and teaching. You will work in a team and independently on research projects, the results of which will be presented at scientific conferences and published in international journals, and you will supervise academic exercises, seminars, and theses.
The Chair of Economics & Social Policy conducts theoretical, experimental and empirical research in the fields of regional and urban economics, social policy, and finance. Currently, the chair analyzes, among other things, the effects of regional and research funding, land transfer tax, state regulation and housing subsidies, as well as determinants of urban segregation.
